Former Successful students
With lots of hard work, players can gain places in the NBL Youth Leagues, and Senior BBL/NBL Levels. Ex-members such as Mark Jackson, Duane Laight, and David Butterworth, have gained places in the Senior Mens Pro BBL League and in the Senior NBL League. Whilst Dan Clark is at San Antonio University USA, brother Joe is in High School in Houston USA. Finally Ashley Roberts is also attending University in Idaho.

Jeannie Asher - Director
Jeannie Asher is Basketball Director of Baller Basketball Schools. Her illustrious career began at 13yrs soon entering the heady atmosphere of the Women's National League and won for herself from 14 to 21 a place in the England program. She went on to coach a successful College team in Minnesota, USA. She now runs 4 development schools at locations in Hampshire together with an Academy of Excellence for the truly dedicated. She has set up leagues to give her proteges really competitive basketball and has seen several players called up for national honours and scholarships to the USA. Baller Basketball is also linked to Southampton Basketball Club, feeding several young players through to national League squads.
Mark Jackson - Head Coach
Mark Jackson started playing basketball at the age of 11yrs joining JASB. He represented the Solent Junior side, as well as gaining places with the Hampshire and England cadet sides. At 18 Mark gained a scholarship to Barat College, Lake Forest, Chicago, USA. In his senior he was Captain of his team, and was named All Conference. Mark returned a professional player for the Thames Valley Tigers. He has since played for the Brighton Bears and is now captain for the Solent Stars. Mark is an excellent point guard extremely dedicated to the sport and works dilligently with the players. This season Mark will feature in the newly formed Southampton Trailblazer Men's side with David Butterworth, Dan Clarke and many more 'Baller' developed players.
